For organizations managing commercial real estate transactions or title originators, outsourcing the title process can help you balance your expertise and allocate your time and resources more efficiently within the organization.
Due to fluctuations in the real estate market, timelines can be difficult to adhere to when scaling is necessary. Rather than adding new staff to assist with an influx of title processing needs, a title partner can be a great solution. By utilizing a partner you will eliminate the need to hire and train additional people on demand to meet the current needs. This allows your organization to handle market fluctuations seamlessly – and also helps your bottom line because when there is less volume, you won’t be left with staff sitting idle.
To improve operational efficiency, organizations can determine peak periods or cycles and create built-in workflows that allow your organization to meet increasing demand without sacrificing work quality or overburdening the in-house employees.
Additionally, outsourcing your title process can improve file processing time. Start by comparing the costs and time for file processing in-house. If your file processing time is not meeting your resource and budgetary goals, a more streamlined solution may be to use a partner focused on these tasks (with organized systems and experienced staff in place) to manage your needs.
Title production requirements can vary widely across geographical regions, which can in turn impact requirements for title production, with some being significantly more complex than others. If your organization works across state lines, keeping up to date on these requirements can be hard to maintain. Using a proficient title partner provides you with the required knowledge and expertise of the title process, so you can focus your attention on growing your organization.
